MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a modality that affects the LYMPHATIC SYSTEM (aka, the ‘waste-dumping’ system).  This system resides just under the skin.  Therefore, the touch is very light.  It will feel like a very mild skin stretch.  IT IS NOT MASSAGE THERAPY.  The goal is to stimulate movement of the lymph by opening watersheds along the body and encouraging movement of the lymph back towards those watersheds.

All sessions are 80-90 minutes in length.  In my experience, shorter sessions are not going to be as effective.  Please bring loose clothing to wear home.  Plan on adequate hydration after your session.  The session will be very relaxing.
